On March 15, 2022, Oscar Landa Samano of Coconino High School in Flagstaff won the title of State Champion at the 2022 Arizona Poetry Out Loud state finals. Oscar will now advance to the final stage of this national poetry recitation competition, representing the State of Arizona at the National Finals! Congratulations to Oscar, runner up Elijah Jenkins of Brophy College Preparatory, and all of this year's finalists.
