We're unable to offer field trips through the end of the 2019-2020 school year due to university closure. While the full field trip experience depends on being able to visit the Poetry Center, we're now offering the writing activities online. These lessons were designed for classes, but are easily adaptable to individual or small groups of students, and are available in both lesson plan and worksheet formats. Furthermore, while we offer field trips for 4th-12th grade students, these activities can be adapted for different age ranges. If you're an educator, student, parent, guardian or mentoring adult and have questions regarding these field trip activities, or would like further resources regarding K-12 education, feel free to email us at pceducation@email.arizona.edu.
4th-6th Grade Field Trip Writing Activity (2019-2021): Desert Animal Metaphors
