Thalia Field has three books with New Directions, Point and Line, Incarnate: Story Material, and Bird Lovers, Backyard. These books represent works that span the genres of essay, fiction, poetry—even theatre. Thalia has also published a ‘performance novel’ Ululu (Clown Shrapnel) with Coffee House Press, and a book-length essay, A Prank of Georges, with Essay Press. Thalia teaches in the Literary Arts program at Brown University.
