Suzanne Hesh

Textile artist Suzanne Hesh is a longtime Tucsonan who remembers visiting the Poetry Center with her mother in its very early years. Her work has been exhibited widely and is held in private collections throughout the United States. Suzanne considers it a positive challenge to create meaningful art from a material that is ancient, mundane, benign, complex and accessible. Her motto is “Changing the world, one stitch at a time.” She organized the first Fuentes Rojas taller, or workshop, in 2012 at St. Philips in the Hills Episcopal Church.
