Stephanie R. Pearmain, MFA in Creative Writing for Children and Young Adults from Hollins University, has worked in the UA English Department since 2001, where she currently teaches courses in Children’s and Young Adult Literature and Publishing in this market. In fall 2018, Stephanie’s publishing course partnered with Make Way for Books and several students had picture book manuscripts accepted for publication to the MWFB picture book app. She has been a Reader for the Andrea Brown Literary Agency as well as a book reviewer for Children's Literature Database (picture books through novels), and a Fiction Reader for YARN, an award-winning online young adult literary magazine. www.stephaniepearmain.com
