Sally Ball

Sally Ball is the author of three collections of poems, Hold Sway, Wreck Me and Annus Mirabilis. Her poems have appeared in APR, the Bennington, Boston, Harvard, and Yale Reviews, Ploughshares, Tin House, and other magazines, as well as in The Best American Poetry anthology. Her essays and reviews have appeared in Lithub, NOR, Pleiades, The Volta, and elsewhere. Professor of English and director of creative writing at ASU, Ball is also the long-time associate director of Four Way Books and a faculty member in the MFA Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College. Her collaborative artist’s book with Czech printmaker Jan Vičar has been exhibited across Europe, Japan, and the US, and is held in museums and libraries including ASU Distinctive Collections, the University of Iowa Libraries Special Collections, the National Library of France, the Library of the Institute of France, and the Museum of Czech Literature in Prague.
