Mary Ruefle’s most recent book is My Private Property (Wave Books, 2016). Her collected lectures, Madness, Rack, and Honey, was a finalist for the 2012 National Book Critics Circle Award. She is also an erasure artist who treats small, obscure nineteenth century books, most of which are held in libraries and private collections. A poet, she lives in Bennington, Vermont.
