Joshua Marie Wilkinson is the author of eight collections of poetry, including Meadow Slasher and Swamp Isthmus, both from Black Ocean. Before joining the poetry faculty at University of Arizona, he lived in Chicago, Denver, Ireland, Bellingham, Turkey, and Slovakia. With Solan Jensen, he directed a tour documentary about the band Califone, and with Lisa Wells he runs a small press called Letter Machine Editions and The Volta, a journal of poetics. He divides his time between Tucson and Seattle, where he was born and raised.
