Gabriel Palacios is a poet, songwriter, and writing teacher from Tucson, Arizona. He received his MFA in Creative Writing in 2019 at The University of Arizona. His debut collection, A Ten Peso Burial for Which Truth I Sign, will be published in spring 2024 by Fonograf Editions. This work refigures mediated representations of the West, and translated language from the documentary record of death, crime, and conquest in the Spanish Pimería Alta. His poems have appeared in The Brooklyn Rail, New Sinews, Annulet: A Journal of Poetics, Denver Quarterly, The Volta, Typo Magazine, and other literary journals.
