Ellen Elias-Bursac translates fiction and non-fiction from the Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian. Her translation from the Serbian of David Albahari's novel Götz and Meyer was given ALTA's National Translation Award in 2006. She is president of the American Literary Translators Association.
