Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Carl Dennis has published 11 books of poetry, including Callings (2010), Practical Gods (2001), Ranking the Wishes (1997), and Meetings with Time (1992), all from Penguin. A recipient of the Pulitzer Prize and the Ruth Lilly Prize, he lives in Buffalo, New York. This will be his third visit to the Poetry Center (he previously read in the Series in 2001 and 1986).
