Pō-é-tree: "Poetry and Science"

Pō-é-tree is a poetry reading and discussion event that takes place under trees in the University of Arizona’s Arboretum. These discussions follow Arboretum tours led by Arboretum docents, so you may want to consider taking an Arboretum tour before joining us for Pō-é-tree. (Information available here.) To participate in a Pō-é-tree event, meet in front of the Old Main Building on the University of Arizona campus. From there, we will move to a location for the event. Pō-é-tree is free and open to the public, and no sign-up is necessary. To participate, just show up!

On December 5, the theme of the event is "Poetry and Science": a celebration of Alison Hawthorne Deming, former director of The University of Arizona Poetry Center (1990-2002) and currently Professor in Creative Writing at the University of Arizona. Each participant will receive a packet of poems.

Pō-é-tree is a project of the Poetry Center docents in partnership with The University of Arizona Campus Arboretum.
