The Tucson Poetry Festival is an annual event that brings poets to Tucson for readings, writing workshops, and panels. Over the decades, the Festival has featured some of the most recognized poets of our time, including Allen Ginsberg, Joy Harjo, Simon Ortiz, W.S. Merwin, Yusef Komunyakaa, Sherman Alexie, Diane di Prima, Wanda Coleman, Gary Snyder, Donald Hall, and more.

This year the Tucson Poetry Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary with an outstanding lineup of poets: Eduardo C. Corral, Karyna McGlynn, Ander Monson, and Patricia Smith! Please see the Festival schedule for complete details about all Festival events.

On Saturday, April 7, the Festival presents the following writing workshops and a panel at the Poetry Center. All events are FREE but a donation to the Tucson Poetry Festival is suggested.
