Mary Szybist is the author of two collections of poetry: her first book, Granted, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award, and her most recent book, Incarnadine, was awarded the 2013 National Book Award for Poetry. She is the recipient of fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Center, and the Witter Bynner Foundation in conjunction with the Library of Congress. She teaches at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and the Warren Wilson College MFA Program for Writers.
