Kazim Ali is the author of two books of poetry: The Fortieth Day (2008) and The Far Mosque (2005). He has also written two novels—Quinn’s Passage (2005) and The Disappearance of Seth (2009)—and an autobiographical work entitled Bright Felon: Autobiography and Cities (2009). He teaches at Oberlin College and the University of Southern Maine.
