Michelle Tea is the author of four memoirs, a novel and the poetry collection, The Beautiful. She is the Executive Director of RADAR Productions, which oversees the international Sister Spit performance tours, the annual Radar LAB writers' retreat in Akumal, Mexico, and the Eli Coppola Memorial Poetry Chapbook Contest. Her journalism appears in The Believer and was recently selected for Best Music Writing 2010. She is part of the Ironing Board Collective fashion blog (ironingboardcollective.blogspot) and is currently teaching fiction at Cal Arts.
