Molly McCloy has won four Moth StorySLAMs. Her memoir Nine Grudges: The Spiteful Origins of the Happiest Dyke on Earth won the 2023 Quill Prose Award from Red Hen Press. Known for her darkly comedic approach to live storytelling and writing about childhood trauma, Molly has taught writing at Pima Community College for over fifteen years and has curated storytelling workshops for Trauma Informed Specialists, nonprofit CFOs, introverted accountants, and average folks who just want to tell stories about their lives. In the course of writing her forthcoming memoir Nine Grudges and the one-woman show it was based on, Molly learned many valuable techniques for addressing traumatic moments in storytelling and writing. She hopes to teach these skills to others so they can craft the difficult stories they need to tell.
