This free event will take place at the Loft Cinema 3233 E Speedway Blvd.

This screening will featuring seven short films, created by the award-winnig production and videography team from Arizona Public Media's Arizona Illustrated. Each short film is based on a poem from a Tucson poet, who was asked to share a poem about imagining a better world--to harness something of the urgency in this moment and to imagine beyond it. The poems will also air in Arizona Illustrated episodes in September.   The featured Tucson poets include Sylvia Chan, Alison Deming, Claire Hong, Estella González, Gabriel Palacios, Marc Pinate, and Richard Siken.
