A World on Paper: Broadsides

Join us in celebrating broadsides—poster-style presentations of a single poem on a single sheet—recently added to the Poetry Center’s established collection of over 1,200 broadsides. Published as a broadside, a single poem can become an immersive experience, with font, layout, and accompanying artwork all contributing to the viewer’s sense of the poem as a complete object in its own right. A World on Paper showcases these striking visual works and invites viewers to interact with the larger broadsides collection, available to the public by request.

Exhibitions are displayed in the Jeremy Ingalls Gallery of the Poetry Center.
