Join us to help welcome the American Literary Translators Association (ALTA) to Tucson!  Recently relocated, ALTA is the premiere membership organization for translators in the United States, and hosts a vibrant national conference of leading literary translators each year in cities around the country.  Based in Tucson within the College of Humanities, ALTA will bring their signature conference to Tucson in two of the next four years.  Learn more about their mission and their exciting work. 

There will be a short 20 minute talk about ALTA’s work.  Event will feature complimentary snacks and a cash bar; doors at 5:30, program at 6pm
