The Poetry Center, in conjunction with Bill Mackey of Worker, Inc. invites you to a bus ride down Old Nogales Highway on Sunday, May 20, 2018 in an air-conditioned yellow school bus. Enjoy a quintessential Tucson landscape for the two-hour experience.  Each rider will receive a map with collage and text based on Old Nogales Highway. The text features poetry and prose by an array of Tucsonans that investigates a sense of place, nostalgia, and the idea of a road that leaves town.  Near the completion of the ride, the bus will stop for Sonoran hot dogs (please bring cash if you plan to buy a hot dog). This Worker, Inc. production was initially funded through the Arts Foundation of Southern Arizona in 2017.
