Wednesday, March 27, 2024 - 5:00pm to 7:00pm

Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, 5:00PM - 7:00PM

Meeting will take place in the Poetry Center's Alumni Room, Room 205; limit 12 students. SOLD OUT.

What makes certain kinds of reading ‘difficult,’ and how can a curious sensibility help us approach reading with a new mindset? In this workshop, Saretta Morgan will take you through the texts of Jerome Ellis, Trinh T. Minh Ha, and Eve Sedgwick, stepping away from reading as an exercise in logic and reason and instead building up the skill of reading from a place of human inquisitiveness. You’ll walk away from this class with new approaches for finding pleasure alongside the texts you love (as well as the ones you don't).
