High school students from throughout Southern Arizona will perform dramatic recitations of well-loved poems. The top two winners will move forward to the state finals.

Poetry Out Loud: National Recitation Contest is a national program for high school teachers and students that seeks to foster the next generation of literary readers by capitalizing on the latest trends in poetry—recitation and performance.
