This event does not take place at the Poetry Center.

Join us for a  tour of the 20 winning haiku that are featured in planters in Downtown Tucson for the 2026 Haiku Hike. The theme for the 2026 contest is Connection.  The 20 winning haiku were selected by the 2026 judge Paola Valenzuela.  For this event, we'll meet in the lobby of Hotel Congress at 9am, and depart for the walk from there.  Sun protection, comfortable shoes, and drinking water is encouraged; we'll stop to read each haiku as we stroll.  We estimate the total walk to be less than 1 mile through the downtown area. 

Haiku Hike signs will be on display from March 20 - June 1, 2026.
