In the spirit of Frank O’Hara, we will use our mid-day break from work to have lunch—and write poetry. Finding time to write can be difficult, and occasionally we must find new ways of composition to generate material in a limited amount of time. This eight-week course will focus on developing a range of generative methods to complement and/or revise the writing process to fit any kind of schedule. Lively exchange provided; please bring your own lunch.
