Zines are self-published booklets that have been made by artists and writers for generations, with roots in subcultures including science fiction and punk rock. Since 2021, the UArizona Poetry Center has celebrated the bold, wild world of zines through our Brave Books: Zines and Zine Libraries program. Cut & Paste! features zines from youth creators who are part of our K-12 education programs, as well as affiliated classroom teachers and teaching artists. The exhibit will also feature zines and zine-like materials from the Poetry Center’s archives and Rare Book Room, as well as the Arizona Queer Archives and the Tucson Zine Fest.

An opening reception will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 1 pm to 3 pm.

This is a physical exhibit that will be displayed in the Jeremy Ingalls Gallery at the Poetry Center.
