The Mary Ann Campau/Will Inman Scholarships program provides partial, need-based scholarships to community members who wish to register for a course offered through the Poetry Center’s Classes and Workshops program. Three $75 scholarships are awarded each session (Fall, Spring, and Summer). The Poetry Center is grateful to the donors of the Mary Ann Campau Fund and to the late Will Inman for their generous financial support of the talented poets and writers in our Southern Arizona community.

The deadline to apply for a scholarship for Spring 2016 courses is January 11, 2016, midnight. To apply, you must submit a letter and a short writing sample by email.

The letter should include the following information:

• Your name and contact information (address, phone, and email).
• The name of the Poetry Center class or workshop towards which you wish to apply the scholarship.
• A brief statement of financial need.
• A description of your experience with creative writing (you need not have any), and how the course you wish to take will help your literary pursuits.

The short writing sample should be no more than three pages in length. You are welcome to submit an excerpt.
