Professional Development: Inviting the Poem into the Room with TC Tolbert


On Saturday, January 30, the K-12 Education Department and TC Tolbert are offering Inviting the Poem into the Room, a professional development session for K-12 classroom teachers and community educators. During the session, participants will experiment with ways to welcome poetry (on and off the page) into the classroom, work with improvisational techniques to expand what is possible, and have a lot of fun. You will leave with at least two adaptable activities to use in your Zoom classrooms. This session is now full.
