An important update regarding cancellations through May 15

After further direction from the University of Arizona and President Robbins, we will be canceling the remainder of our events for the Spring 2020 season. Our library will also be closed for the semester, with a tentative reopen date of May 15. We are saddened to do so but know it is important to create space during this time to support community health.

Classes and Workshops participants affected by these changes can expect a full refund for cancelled courses.

The University will be continuing to evaluate and make decisions, and that will affect our decisions about programs we are scheduling for the summer. The best way to stay up to date about Poetry Center activities and programs is on our website (poetry.arizona.edu) and through our social media channels.  We will also communicate through our newsletter list, which you can sign up for at the bottom right of our website homepage.

We want to remind you that you can also stay connected to the Poetry Center by following our blog, 1508 (poetry.arizona.edu/blog), where we will be providing our regular content related to poetry, along with additional content related to some of our canceled activities. For instance, our education team is working with Kids Create facilitators to provide lesson plans online for families who may be interested in providing activities for children at home.

We thank you again for your support during a difficult time, and we truly are excited for a healthier future where we can welcome you to the Poetry Center again.
