Poet and Poetry Center summer resident Stephen Willey is available for one-on-one meetings to discuss poetry! This opportunity is free and open to the public. Stephen will be in the Poetry Center library for three Mondays (August 11, August 18, and August 25), from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. If you’d like to talk with him, call 626-3765 or sign up at the front desk for a twenty-minute session. (Longer sessions are possible if no one is waiting.) This one-on-one time is for you to use as you like. You can bring Stephen a draft of a poem for his feedback. You can bring a favorite poem to discuss. You can talk with him about something especially alive or challenging in your writing process. You can bring a debate about aesthetics! We are delighted to share this opportunity with you.
