Whitman Circle Summer Socials: Poetry and the Tucson Modern Streetcar!

07/23/2014 - 5:30pm

Join the UA Poetry Center and celebrate Tucson’s summer months through a short series featuring local artists and writers. These free, informal gatherings are designed for any and all who wish to escape the heat and enjoy engaging conversation with new friends.

Come for wine or a beverage on your way home from work; stay as long as you like.  All are welcome.  We can’t wait to see you!

In our second of three summer socials, join us to talk about the ways poetry will play an ongoing role in our new modern streetcar: just in time for its August launch! Collaborating artists Ben Olmstead and Simon Donovan will speak.

Please note: Our chat with Ben and Simon begins at 5:45 at Hotel Congress' Copper Room in downtown Tucson. Street and garage parking both available nearby.
