Humanities Week

10/07/2013 - 8:00am - 10/11/2013 - 5:00pm
Talk a walk with us through time. Discover themes, people and cultures that have transcended history and continue to weave their way into our social tapestry. Presented by the UA College of Humanities, the week will allow you to: Follow in the footsteps of meteorite hunters with Chris Cokinos as your guide at the Flandrau Planetarium. Experience poet and author Maggie Nelson as she reads from her work and shares her unique blend of poetic nonfiction. Visit the historical world of Downton Abbey with Dr. Jerry Hogle as he examines how the fictional characters navigate their way through society.

All events are free and open to the public. For a complete list of events, visit hw.arizona.edu.
