First Meeting of "Craft of Fiction"

10/01/2013 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Six Tuesdays, October 1 through November 5, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Tuition: $170 + $10 course material fee = $176

This is a broad-based craft course for beginning, intermediate and advanced students of fiction. In our six-week term, we will investigate, interrogate, and practice the elements of fiction—dialogue, structure/shape/design, characterization, voice, setting, point of view (and whatever I’ve left out)—in our reading and writing. In-class and out-of-class exercises and experimentation will be a component of this class, as well as short-ish out-of-class readings. Bring your writing utensils and sense of humor!
