Poet, essayist, and University of Arizona Creative Writing professor Boyer Rickel leads a Shop Talk on the work of Agha Shahid Ali (1949-2001). Agha wrote five books of poetry and edited an important collection of contemporary ghazals before his untimely death.

Agha Shahid Ali, a poet, translator scholar, and teacher, wrote five books of poetry and edited an important collection of contemporary ghazals before his untimely death. He received his MFA from the University of Arizona.
