Shop Talk

Shop Talks take a "round table" approach to scholarly investigation of poetic works, resulting in a collegial atmosphere. Each Shop Talk begins with a mini-lecture on the featured author, followed by a conversation about the author and the work. A study packet containing biographical information, excerpts, and criticism is made available for each event, and no advance knowledge of the poet or works discussed is required. Discussions take place at 6:00 pm in the Dorothy Rubel Room. For more information, email Wendy Burk at wlburk@email.arizona.edu.
