Lawrence Lenhart's choice from our MFA Thesis Collection

From the Stacks is a regular series  in which we solicit authors to wander our library and choose books that have been important to them and/or that they recommend. This is a special edition in which Lawrence Lenhart speaks about and reads from a selection from our MFA Thesis Collection in our archives. The University of Arizona Poetry Center’s archival holdings are open to faculty, staff, students, and the public Monday through Friday year round.

Lawrence Lenhart's first collection of essays, The Well-Stocked and Gilded Cage, was published in August 2016 (Outpost19). Other writing on sea-level rise, climate migration, and the endangered black-footed ferret have appeared in Alaska Quarterly ReviewBOAATFourth Genre, Greensboro ReviewGuernicaGulf CoastPassages North, and Western Humanities Review. Lenhart teaches fiction and creative nonfiction at Northern Arizona University and is the reviews editor and assistant fiction editor of DIAGRAM.

Lenhart's selection From the Stacks is Timothy Dyke's Dead Boy Project.
